We have owned Rowdy since he was a 2 year old and just love him. He is a well
balanced, heavy boned jack, with a beautiful, masculine head. His huge,
well defined eye rings are very prominent and something he throws in all
his foals. Rowdy has a beautiful eye, nice round rear end and a gorgeous
set of legs. His easy going temperament makes him an asset to our herd.
Rowdy has what I call a curly
coat, and keeps this for about 7 months of
the year. (see picture above). He sheds it off every year and then
gets it back. What a head of hair! Now mind you we live in Texas so it's
not just a winter coat. We don't get that cold. He has thrown this curly
coat in his foals, and he also throws a super, long, thick and silky coat
on them. We have been so pleased with his foals, and they are definitely
taking after him. They have his beautiful head, and eye, good bone, and
toplines, and those gorgeous straight legs I love so much! And, yes, his
disposition too. Rowdy lives alone most of the time because the girls pick
on him, and he is quite content like this. He loves attention and most
of all his butt scratches. During breeding season he is a easy going gentleman,
never marking them or showing aggression towards them. He's every breeders
dream. We have kept several of his foals to put back in our herd and we're
super happy with them. Rowdy is producing NMDA and ADMS Champions and we
are really happy to see this. We have been so blessed to own him!
Because we have retained so many Rowdy daughters in our herd we must now
reluctantly offfer him for sale. Visit our 'for
sale' page for more information!
